For years, I dreamed of painting but was too scared to try, thinking it would be a waste of money if I failed. Finally, in 2008, I set my fears aside and took a few lessons from a former art teacher. I was instantly hooked. I realized I had been creating art all along through various craft designs and projects tied to my many hobbies. Oil painting is my favorite medium because its consistency allows me to blend and play with colors. I love nature and find beauty in the small details that many people often overlook, which is reflected in my most recent artwork.
